In 2027, Belgrade will host one of the most important international events of the decade — Expo 2027 Belgrade, bringing together countries, organizations, innovators, and visitors from across the world.

The exhibition will focus on the theme “Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All”, highlighting the role of sport, culture, and creativity in connecting people and building more inclusive societies.

A completely new exhibition complex is currently being developed in Belgrade to host this global event, which is expected to welcome millions of visitors.

EXPO in Numbers

Expo 2027 Belgrade will take place from 15 May to 15 August 2027, lasting 93 days and welcoming participants and visitors from around the globe.

More than 120 countries, international organizations, and companies are expected to participate, presenting ideas, technologies, and cultural initiatives related to the central theme of the exhibition. 

The event is expected to attract over 4 million visitors, making it the largest international event ever hosted in Serbia and the wider region.

Special Olympics Serbia at Expo 2027

As part of the broader program dedicated to sport and inclusion, Special Olympics Serbia will participate in Expo 2027 Belgrade as an exhibitor.

Through its presence at the exhibition, Special Olympics Serbia will present its mission, programs, and the impact of inclusive sport to an international audience. The participation will highlight the importance of providing opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities and promoting equality through sport.

For conference participants visiting Serbia, it offers a glimpse into a major international event that will soon transform the city and further position Belgrade as a global meeting point for sport, culture, and international collaboration.
